The images will remain professional of course to reflect the institutions world class reputation.</div><div><br /></div>Sarah Wilsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13950322987504305671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35732623111770880.post-25714880509243534642011-03-17T19:18:00.000-07:002011-03-17T19:27:39.208-07:00WEEK THREE: Past and present advertising techniques.The Australian Institute of Sport's main form of advertisement is provided through the utilisation of a government website (http://www.ausport.gov.au/ais/). Although the website contains mostly text, there is some imagery used throughout in the form of documentary style photographs (Which I personally don't think are all that good/could use updating).<div><br /></div><div>The images used on the website are mainly action shots and sports portraits and are miminal in comparison to text, there are a few architectural shots of the facilities but they are used sparingly. All the images are really small and poor resolution as well.</div><div><br /></div><div><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><img src="webkit-fake-url://F7077C79-E208-4CF4-B018-D79716283A4F/33_percent_landscape.jpg" alt="33_percent_landscape.jpg" /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><img src="webkit-fake-url://103E8D8C-3B7E-44BE-AA71-3F090C9C4AA4/33_percent_landscape.jpg" alt="33_percent_landscape.jpg" /></p><p></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p><p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"><br /></p></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Sarah Wilsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13950322987504305671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35732623111770880.post-52039507544020374582011-03-01T23:10:00.000-08:002011-03-01T23:27:02.451-08:00WEEK TWO<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#3366FF;">A BRIEF HISTORY...</span></span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#3366FF;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">The Australian Institute of Sport is 'Australia's premiere sports training institute'.
